
As Food Testing
has been the main business of ILS for 30 years, there is hardly
a food that we have not analysed. As such our chemistry laboratories
are amongst the finest equipped, privately owned facilities
in the country. Our continued investment in new technologies
and equipment has led to our UKAS scope of accreditation and
range of other tests available to be one of the most extensive
in the UK.
Equipped with a range of instrumentation
including, GC, GCMS, HPLC, Dionex, AA Spectroscopy, LECO,
PCR and SFE Fat Analyser our testing range includes:
- Nutritional Testing, Group 1 & 2, including AOAC
Dietary Fibre(UKAS Accredited)
- Meat Content
- Chemical Quality Determination
- GMO’s
- Vitamins
- Heavy metals
In addition to our Sample Collection service,
this department also offers the service of cooking food samples
before testing is carried out.
We also undertake Quality Control Testing
on Beers, Wines and Spirits to IOB / EBC procedures, EEC Community
Methods and other International Standards.
